momtra does not collect any information about you. It has no account, no sign-in, and no connection to the internet. There is no server to send anything to, and we have no way to see what you write, save, or read in the app.
Everything momtra keeps is stored only on your own device, and is never transmitted anywhere:
Some of this is shared with momtra's Lock Screen widget so that it can show the same phrase the app does. That sharing happens entirely inside your own device, between two parts of the same app.
Deleting momtra deletes all of it. Because none of it leaves your phone, we cannot recover it for you, and we cannot see it.
If you turn on the daily reminder, momtra schedules notifications on your device using Apple's local notification system. Those notifications never travel over a network, and the text inside them is composed on your phone.
When you choose to share a phrase, momtra creates an image on your device and hands it to Apple's standard share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice, and whichever app you send it to is governed by that app's own privacy policy, not this one. Anything you have written about a saved phrase is never included in what is shared.
momtra is written for parents and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Any child's name you enter is stored on your device for the sole purpose of writing that name into the phrases you read.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, that backup is made by Apple and may include momtra's stored settings, along with everything else on your phone. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is not something momtra controls or can access.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
